PetFirst Healthcare's pet insurance provides affordable, easy-to-understand coverage for accidents, illnesses and routine care. With PetFirst's coverage, you save an industry-leading 90% on your pet's veterinary bills without the hassle of per diagnosis limits. There is a $50 per incident deductible on accident and illness claims but no deductible on routine claims. After satisfying the deductible, we reimburse you 90% up to the per incident maximum as specified by each plan.

The difference from one plan to another is the amount of coverage the plan provides both per incident and annually for accident and illness care. Basic comprehensive plans include $100 of routine care coverage. Preferred and Preferred Plus comprehensive plans include $220 of routine care coverage.

No matter which plan you select, multi-pet households save with the Family Plan. With this option, you insure up to three pets under one plan for a fraction of the cost. Your family coverage may include cats, dogs or a blend of the two. Family plans allow your pets to share the accident and illness benefit of the plan while each pet receives their own set of routine care benefits.

PetFirst's pet insurance is available to all dogs and cats older than 8 weeks and younger than 10 years no matter what breed. As long as your pet has coverage before their tenth birthday, their PetFirst pet insurance policy is renewable for life.
