“This past winter, I ran out of the house, hit a slick spot on our steps going to the back yard and fell about 15 feet to the ground. When I landed, my dad knew that I was hurt bad. After taking me in for emergency vet care, Mom and Dad confirmed I had broken my leg in three spots. My parents were referred to a veterinarian orthopedic specialist who examined me and explained that it would be $1700.00 to operate. After the surgery, I have three pins in my leg, and I run and jump just like my brother and sister (also toy fox terriers).
