My Pets makes coverage convenient
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 1, 2007) - PetFirst Healthcare leads the pack when it comes to simplifying pet insurance and continues to carry out its mission of making coverage easy to understand and use with the introduction of My Pets.
My Pets is an innovative system that allows customers to manage policies online. The program allows customers to update personal information, view and print policy documents, as well as track the progress of claims.
"We wanted a program that would enable our policyholders to check the status of their claims whenever they wanted to," said Brent Hinton, PetFirst CEO and former director of Kentucky Humane Society. "It reduces the number of customer service calls we receive and allows policyholders access to information when our call center is not open."
My Pets shows the status of a policy, when each claim is processed, how much was requested and how much was reimbursed to the policyholder. A claim form is easily available for download through the My Pets system.
Kathleen Soldano of Colorado Springs, Colo. has a PetFirst policy for her two domestic shorthair cats and two American Eskimo dogs.
